Terms of Use

Article 1 (Application)

These Terms set out the conditions for using the household expense-sharing app (the "App") provided by 髙橋玲央 (trade name: Sakigake Labs; "we"). By using the App, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

Article 2 (What the App is)

The App is a tool that helps you and your partner record expenses and calculate how to split them.

Article 3 (Account)

1. Using the App requires signing in with a Google account, an Apple ID, or an email address and password.
2. You are responsible for managing your own account.
3. We are not liable for any damage caused by unauthorized use of an account, except where there is an intentional act or gross negligence on our part.

Article 4 (Sharing data with your partner)

1. If you set up a pair, the expense data you register is shown to your partner.
2. A single space can have up to two members.
3. You are responsible for managing the invite code.

Article 5 (Settled records)

Once an expense has been settled, its record can no longer be edited or deleted.

This is so that your records stay consistent with those of the other party. Before settlement, you can edit and delete records.

Article 6 (Paid plans)

1. We may offer paid plans in the App. What they include and what they cost are as shown in the App and in each store.
2. Paid plans are sold through the App Store or Google Play.
3. The conditions for billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds follow the rules of each platform.
4. Unless you cancel, your plan renews automatically.
5. Prices may change. If they do, we will announce it in the App in advance.

Article 7 (Prohibited acts)

You must not do any of the following.

1. Acts that violate laws or public order and morals
2. Acts that interfere with the operation of the App
3. Attempts at unauthorized access
4. Decompiling or disassembling the App
5. Any other act that we judge to be inappropriate

Article 8 (Changes to, suspension of, and termination of the service)

1. We may change the content of the App without prior notice to you.
2. We may suspend the App for maintenance, failures, or other unavoidable reasons.
3. If we end the App, we will give paid-plan users advance notice as far as possible.

Article 9 (Scanning accuracy)

We do not guarantee the accuracy of automatic receipt scanning.

Always check the scan results yourself. We are not liable for damage caused by errors in scan results, except where there is an intentional act or gross negligence on our part.

Article 10 (Disclaimer)

1. We do not warrant that the App is suited to your particular purpose, has the functions you expect, or is free of defects.
2. We are not liable for damage you suffer in connection with the use of the App, except where there is an intentional act or gross negligence on our part.
3. Even where we are liable despite the preceding paragraph, our liability for damages is limited to the total amount we received from you in the 12 months before the damage occurred.

Article 11 (Loss of data)

We strive to preserve data, but we recommend that you keep your own copy of your data.

Article 12 (Changes to these Terms)

We may change these Terms. The revised Terms take effect when we post them in the App or on this website.

Article 13 (Governing law and jurisdiction)

1. These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
2. The Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance over any dispute concerning the App.
3. The Japanese text of these Terms is the original. Translations into other languages are provided for reference only; if a translation differs from the Japanese text, the Japanese text prevails.
